Family sessions

Documentary, playful, unscripted.

I don't direct family sessions the way you'd expect. There's no lining everyone up, no countdown to a smile.

That means kids get to be kids, even mid-tantrum or mid-giggle. Parents get to be tired, or silly, or distracted by the baby, without worrying about looking a certain way for the camera. I'm there to notice it, not stage it. Of course, there is redirection when needed.

My style

The result is a set of images that look like your life, not like a photoshoot. I believe in natural, unhurried photography that reflects how your family actually feels, not how it's supposed to look for the camera.

This works beautifully for:

  • Everyday family sessions at home or somewhere you love

  • Extended family gatherings and reunions

  • Newborn and early childhood documentary sessions

  • Multi-generational stories, grandparents included

Qualities

Details may seem small, but actually speak volumes.

A hand being held without thinking about it. The mess on the kitchen table nobody cleaned up for the photo. The in-between moment right after the posed one, when everyone relaxes and it suddenly looks like you again.

Details

After your session, I take full care of reviewing and refining every photo. I go through each image with attention to detail, selecting only the strongest shots to move forward into editing.

For me, quality always comes before speed. I take the time needed to make sure every photo is finished to the highest standard, because your happiness with the final result matters most.

Your complete set of high-resolution images will be delivered via WeTransfer within 10 days of the session.

What do you get?

If you're reading this and thinking "this is exactly what I'm looking for," I'd love to hear from you. And if you still have questions, just reach out. I'm always happy to talk it through.

Sessions can happen at home, somewhere outdoors that means something to you, or wherever feels most like yours.

I hope we can hop on a call soon so we can get to know each other a bit and see if we're a good fit.

Looking forward to it!

Say cheese?
